Crafting the Unforgettable Song
There may not be a magic formula for those songs which move us and remain forever etched in our memories, but there are things which most of these songs have in common - certain structural and thematic elements both lyrical and musical. You'll learn the Nashville Number System, and other tools to help your songwriting evolve. You'll receive tips and feedback that will help you hone your skills, and take your writing to the next level.
For the more experienced songwriter, we offer advanced courses that will help you break out of previous patterns, and challenge yourself to employ more advanced music theory in your melodies.
Lyric Writing Technique
In this course, we'll focus on those things particular to creating powerful words - favorite lyrical structures, words to try to avoid (never end a line, for example, with "orange"), and those elements of story-telling which transcend genre.

We will also teach you about licensing, and some of the music business basics you'll need to get started, or to take your music to the next level.
